After smoking some pot last night, I decided to go outside and take in the beauty of things. I laid down on my trampoline and spent about two hours staring at the stars above my head. It's good to remember just how small my problems really are sometimes. |

I think my new goal in life is to make up words for feelings that cannot be described with one word.
examples:
onymorochasaplasmosys--the fleeting feeling one gets of bursting through a cell's inner wall when entering a body of water.
gretalimalifacitude--the feeling of relief one only experiences after a clean and quick dump.
lestilentanglioni--a slow untangling of the mind from the moral fabric of society.
etc... |

Imagine that you had unfettered access to nine hours of commercial-free airtime on a major FM radio station with a 60,000 watt signal covering a third of California. What kind of material would you broadcast? Well, what else? Why, you'd enthusiastically promote the extensive use of powerful psychedelic drugs, obviously!
So of course, that's exactly what we did in The Trip Receptacles, a series of three 3-hour shows consisting of all-psychedelic, all-entheogen radio, transmitted via KPFA in Berkeley (and KFCF in Fresno). And boy was it a success! In fact, we had so much fun that I decided to put nearly four hours of material from those radio shows right here on the web as MP3's for your enjoyment! This material was digitally recorded right from the studio board, with all the best moments lovingly culled and meticulously edited.

I often try to imagine true infinity.
The building blocks of true infinity could be reduced to 2 "digits." To define anything, you need at the very least two sequence changers, like the on 1 and the off 0 in electronics. Try to think of this: 1 and 0 as two infinate strings of non-repeating decimals. the patterns formed by one infinity string and another, much like the sequence of mathematical ones and zeroes in your computer, is the very basic building block of all that has existed, exists, and will ever exist in the universe forever. |
